So(u)lful Smoothie Bowl

I LiVE for smoothies! They are my go-to way to start the day (after a good sweat of course) and I've just recently started making smoothie bowls- man was I missing out!

Here is my favorite smoothie turned smoothie bowl! *Note that I'm not big on measuring so everything is sort of guesstimated. Use your best judgement ;) --

Smoothie:

  • Handful organic frozen mangos

  • One medium banana

  • Giant handful of spinach

  • One scoop of favorite vanilla protein powder (I'm currently using Vega protein + greens)

  • Generous sprinkle of cinnamon

  • Generous sprinkle of flax seeds

  • 1/2 cup (approx) of unsweetened vanilla almond OR coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup (approx) of filtered water

Blend up and pour into a bowl (after taking a lil sip because you're impatient like me and can't wait to taste the goodness)

Toppings:

  • {Very} Generous handful of granola (will post my fav recipe for homemade soon!)

  • Sprinkle of coconut flakes

  • Sliced banana

  • Sprinkle of bee pollen
